Pauline Hudson-Evans co-founded Hudson Walker International Ltd in 1993 as a specialist search firm focusing specifically on luxury goods and services. Since then the business has expanded to become a preferred recruitment partner for many of the world’s most prestigious brands. Pauline oversees the management of the company as well as leading business development, ensuring that the company’s strong international networks are developed and maintained.
Pauline sits on the Board of the Bond Street & Mayfair Group, incorporating the Bond Street Association, which is part of the New West End Company, a leading voice for the area’s retail and property sectors.
She has contributed as an External Adviser to the MA Luxury Brand Management Programme at Regent’s University London, and has participated in Walpole’s Brands of Tomorrow and Crafted programmes. In addition, she is Chair of Governors at St Luke’s CE Primary School London W9.
After an early career in retail and finance, Richard Whaley moved into wholesale management with Liberty of London. Over a fifteen-year period he worked extensively in the UK, Europe and the United States.
Richard entered recruitment in 2001 and between 2003 and 2007 he ran his own business, Big Fish (Executive Search) Limited, before joining Hudson Walker International in 2007.
Richard is an exceptionally knowledgeable and versatile recruiter with a portfolio of international luxury clients covering fashion, footwear, fragrance, interiors, wellness, fine jewellery and so on. He is currently managing assignments in the United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, UAE, Kuwait and India as well as the United Kingdom.
His clients’ loyalty to him means that Richard is regularly briefed on a range of assignments across wholesale, retail and head office positions and from middle-management to Board level appointments.
