WALPOLE’S BOOK OF LUXURY 2018
The launch of the 2018 Walpole Book of Luxury – which, at 192 pages is the biggest yearbook Walpole has ever produced – took place this week at a glittering party at Simpsons in the Strand, London.

Walpole represents more than 200 luxury British brands and its mission is to promote, protect and develop the business of luxury in the UK. Already British luxury contributes more than £32bn to the UK economy and this is forecast to grow to £57bn by 2019.
The book’s cover illustration shows a bold charismatic British lion in a top hat on which a Union Flag butterfly has landed and was specially commissioned by Rory Dobner, one of Walpole’s 2017 Brands of Tomorrow. Inside, there are insightful features by some of the UK’s best-known writers and editors, alongside stories from 50 of Britain’s luxury brands, including Hudson Walker International Ltd.
